The first championship was won against Notre Dame while the war was still going on but by the time Army lined up against Notre Dame again for the championship in 1945, the war was over. Due to the war itself, no college coach had ever had the talent on one team that Army did during the war years. This shirt represents the pride people had in the Army at the time, defeating Hitler, Mussolini and Japan. This classic shirt makes for a nice memento.
